Hi Everyone, Today is a good paper-grading day - rainy here in the Northeast. Tomorrow is my second Student Teacher observation day. Yesterday I had an eating meltdown. One of my downfalls was 2 containers of Greek yogurt with honey. Ate both after already having had more than my maximum calorie allotment. Oh well, today is a new day. Check back later, Lynn

Penguin - I'm beginning to think that it always rains on Wednesday. It was cold and the wind was so bad that the umbrella didn't help very much. Enjoyed the class though. Jane - I know what you mean. I've got to make it another week with my hair and then I'm getting mine permed and trimmed. cottagebythesea Hope you get well soon and back to yourself. Have a good evening everyone.

Short on time this morning. We woke up to hear the city sirens blowing and wasted a lot of time trying to figure out why. We still don't know. Patty. Its a running joke that it rains every Thursday, which is our Bible study day. Stitch, I'm glad you liked the movie! I was interested in seeing that one. Back later....

Hi all, Just a quick pop-in to say hello. For my creative project, I have been moving furniture (and lots of books) around in the bedroom today, which also means cleaning and rehanging stuff on the walls, and I'm bushed. After all that, I'm not sure I like the new look. Tomorrow I'll be going to town to get my hair touched upped and trimmed, and not a moment too soon! Also have to do some shopping. I'll be back when I can....

Isabella, indeed you are correct: onward and DOWNward! Yes! Did any of you read that article about diet pills that pretty much said if you're 100# overweight, that after 15-20#, you won't lose anymore unless you take drugs? How depressing! http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/diet...ory?id=9068287 Or maybe I read it wrong, too........... it's late! Night, All!

Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh...........I'm so excited that I'm printing in blue. I tried the copy/paste with the chocolate cake recipe just for the heck of it and it WORKS!

Jess, you have to move onward and downward. No shoes for me today. Everything was too tight, too lose, too high in the arch, blah, blah, blah. Glad I've got something to for now.

Good Morning all, Yesterday was another lovely day! Sunny and bright with a crisp feel in the air. Most of the leaves have fallen. They were so beautiful this year it was sad to see them go. I called the Dr. yesterday because my foot (that was broken) is still hurting so much, to find out if that was normal. It's not. So I have to go today to get a script for an MRI to find out what's wrong. Sounds like it just wasn't totally...

Hi everyone, Hope you're all doing well! It's been busy around here the last couple days. Yesterday we went for a lovely beach walk and today....well, we decided it was time to get into the water. Water temp is about 18 degrees so it's still a bit nippy but we braved it anyway. It was very refreshing. I've nearly finished the 2 Linus quilt tops - hoping to wrap them up tomorrow and start on a new project. I'm off to...

What a great idea! This last week I've gotten back into quilting and I'm really using it as a distraction when I want to eat. I have about 3 projects going right now in my sewing area and it seems to be working quite well.
What kind of quilting do you do?

Retired One I used to do the same thing with large bags of chips. I have actually bought chips for my kids lunches when they were little and eat them while they were at school and have to go get a new bag so no one would know. DH loves chips and we have them in the house for him, but he like the Lays plain and I hate those. I always loved Ridges. So I don't ever buy them. ...
