the 2 frames are different, there is something like a 1/2 degree difference in rake w/ 86 frames and it makes a huge difference. It doesn't turn as fast, but is more stable.

now THAT is innovation. two thumbs up!! how are you going to determine the needed weight got he counterbalancer? only problem i can see is if the counterbalancer will be inside an addition to the case, i would think the counterbalancer being submerged in the trans oil all the time will create some pretty drastic drag, not to mention the tornado action that will be created by the CB spinning may agitate the oil too much, mix too much air in too...

Scotts steering damper on a Tri Z
Published (2009-11-26 00:00:00)
Anybody put a Scotts or GPR damper on a TriZ? How did it attach to the triple clamp? I've read the posts about the vw steering damper installs, but i want to put one of the rotary dampers on instead. Any suggestions?

Damn nice work there Mart. I'll be keeping up with your progress. I have a great interests in this. I also have a TRX500R. One that I've been messing with the vibration problem as everyone else. Any thoughts of doing this to others engines?

Welcome to the board. The choke is off when it is fully open. That's the position it should be in when you are riding.

Banshee shocks bolts right in, you just need to open the bushings for the lower mount (top stock on a banshee) and mount it upside down. No clearance issues at all and almost and exact copy of the stock T3 shock, but with a much better feel...
