Contract to PAYG
Published (2009-01-02 11:41:00)
Porting your Pay Monthly to Pre-Pay is like cancelling your number and still subject to a 30 day notice. After 30 days however your number will require topping up. No fuss, no switching phones. You wouldnt even notice the change apart from have a voucher ready and also ask a VF store to send you the Pre-Pay settings for WAP, MMS or any other data services you may use as Pay Monthly and Pre-Pay use different settings. Hope this helps

PAYG broadband dongle?
Published (2009-01-02 12:42:00)
The problem is I got the Three dongle 2 months ago! I did the research and at that time it was the best deal for me. And actually it does what it says on the tin, but as a very low user a genuine PAYG would have been better!

Have I read in a catalogue from a Vodafone shop that all top ups for the PAYG dongle have an unlimited time period? If so this not like "3" because it is limited to 30 days. I've looked on the Vodafone website and cannot find out!

I have been a vodafone customer for nearly 10 years. On 13th December I upgraded to a Nokia N96, through phones4u, as they gave the phone free, as long as you took out the initial insurance through them.Vodafone wanted to charge and then pay me back the money if i sent my old N95 to them. I told phones 4U that I intended to use my old N95 until17th December, when I would finish work and have time...

the £1 a day for 15mb is for users who do not take up mobile internet bundle, your allowance will be unlimited (fair usage 500MB) which you would be unlikely to exceed too often

I have written an application for the V1615. Things are basically going ok, and I have been trying to tighten up on various kinds of spurious events. Within the application these occur when the user clicks multiple times on a button, or screen control and I can handle these within my code. However, we are also experiencing spurious events when sliding the phone open and closed to access the ...

Hi, Newbie here. I have a Vodafone Dongle which has 2 USB's to plug into a computer. The USB's are both connected to the same cable but I only receive internet on one them, I couldn't plug another computer in and share the connection. So I would like to know what's the purpose of this other USB? I would also like to know if it is possible to use a normal router for these dongles...

I thought I might have to de-brand my Mum's Nokia 6280 but found out that you can override the 'Live' option in the shortcuts menu. Samsung might not have this option on their handsets and I've no experience of them so a de-brand could be your only option.
