MTP device: this means you aren't in USB Mass Storage mode. MTP is microsoft's protocol for transfering music (it's licensed by other vendors, such as creative, nokia, etc). this is the mode you would use to conect the phone to windows media player to transfer music. that's all i can say, as i've never connected my N95 to a windows box (i passionately dislike microsoft as a company, as well ...

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. A while ago I started finding that while I thought the phone was charging, it had actually stopped and would not start charging again until I pushed the charger pin around a bit. I found that by using an old charger (left over from an n73) the problem wasn't so bad but now it's happening regardless of what charger i use. I have to plug it in, ...

I have had my N95-1 for 17 months now and only have one month left on my contract. Overall I have been very happy with my N95 and it does everything I could possibly need from a phone. However, 17 months is a long time with the same phone, so like most of you I have been looking forward to getting my hands on a nice shiny new upgrade, with the N96 or the INNOV8 being the obvious contenders....

How do I remove the silver circular shutter/lens assembly? Does it just pull off when the back is already off? I've googled this to death to no avail. Cheers chaps.

It may be a co-incidence but july around the time I upgraded to 30.0.0.15 Im no longer able to get GPS to work - originally it worked fine with Route 66 and Google Maps, now it takes ages to get a lock, and the most it will find is one satellite. Anyone any ideas?

My N95 lost signal a while back and I tried changing from GMS to UMTS (3G) and the signal came back. When ever I put it on GSM it rarely connects to the network, however when it does, I get full signal but I just get "connection error" when dialling and no messages or calls come through. So I have to have it on 3G all the time, and when there is no 3G signal, I get nothing. I haven't ...

As this is a duplicate thread, that is common to both versions of the N95, I will close this one so that it is disscussed in one thread on the link below. http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=90149
