I'm not suggesting you should be using Exchange instead of Gmail But in my case I use gmail for personal use only, and at my last job I used the Exchange support to connect to my work email account, and I wouldn't be able to do that if I was using the exchange support to connect to gmail.

But why use something you have to pay for when you can get it for free? As a registered user of Google Apps we have our own domain name for email, can have different users with different calendars, address books and email - we can also share if we want to. We have google docs for files and colaborative work. We used to pay for an exchange server now we don't We have also got rid of Microsoft Outlook which was always more pain that it was...

Unless a rather obscure problem has occurred with the SIM it is unlikely that a SIM replacement will cure the issuen (but its worth replacing a 5 year old SIM anyway to make sure it is working correctly) It is either hardware or software related (I'm not overly familiar with HTC devices but it maybe worth your while plugging into a PC and running any update software provided to check for a firmware update (sadly UK operators are...

Not to be pedantic but i'm almost certain I've read somewhere that if you don't obtain and download the Skype and Windows Live Messenger apps from 3 themselves, when you use them they will not be FREE; you will be charged at normal rates if they are obtained from an external source. Do you know anything about this? Would locating them at that website affect this? Thanks.

I was in a three store this afternoon and the man said that the they have now switched fully to their own network and have dropped the backup network from Orange - not sure if its 100% true, but he did say this was due to happen in my area ( South London) by Monday.
Apparently alot of network upgrades have occured this week. Hope this helps.

3 disable the feature to lock their phones to 2G (GSM only) as it costs
them money to roam on their roaming partners (orange) network.

Hi all.
Interesting as im on the 2G backup where i live. My girlfriend is on three and when she is in my home area, about a mile radius or so, calls are crisp and clear (using same mast). However, when i call her at her home address 15 miles away which is located in a full 3G area, call data is restricted to being received by me and not sent. Basically, i can hear the other person but they ...
