There is a button under where all the modifiers you added are listed that looks like it is a downwards pipe and the tool tip says "show end results toggle on/off" That should show all modifiers at the same time, additionally the lightbulbs beside the modifier will toggle on and off while in that mode incase you only want to see 2 modifers instead of 5

I have a space animation looking directly at a planet from an astronaught point of view. I have everything rendered except the glass visor of his helmet which will have thickenss and is dome shaped. I'm trying to render off the refraction pass of this visor in Max9 Vray 1.5. It would be nice to see a little bit of refraction of the planet and stars in the glass without the direct view of ...

You can check for this in your rendering dialog, I believe its under the "Renderer" tab under frame buffer type.

Hi. I am modeling a head in 3ds max. I have added a symmetry modifier, but when i select editable poly in the modifiers list the symmetric copy disappears. My questions is, how can i let the symmetric copy appear when i select editable poly.

Apply a Reset Xform to the spline, you might have to rotate the gizmo till it extrudes in the desired direction. Alternatively you could use the Sweep modifier instead. Another option would be to create a spline away from the sphere, attach the spline that is wrapped around sphere and then delete the initial spline (the one created away from the sphere).
