I don't think armrests were available in the US for some reason, leatherz.com sells an aftermarket one for a good price if you were interested in that

I am going by what the manual says since my car is a manual but: A- Economy Program: The way you will usually use an automatic. It will shift so you get the best overall MPG. M-Manual Program: If you want to hold the car in a particular gear. Whether you want to use it to help you accelerate quicker or if you are driving in snow and want to start in a higher gear so you lower the power placed down to the wheels to keep you from sliding out.

My baby is a 97 in black w/Cali top, M badging and E-46 bumper, DASC , etc. I love this car but it's parked in the shop for the winter. Too many rocks on our winter roads.

The car's eleven years old! Give it a break! None of those problems sound too serious. I purchased my first 318ti in October and my second in November. Luckily, both were well-maintained. I'd never owned a BMW before, but the people who buy them new tend to be a bit fanatical, so maybe that's why I lucked out. I'm battling a driver's side door window issue right now. My new window regulator...

Looks nice. It's a good base to build off. Some nice interior and engine detailing would make it look awesome. What plans do you have for the car?

Welcome Mark. I don't know which model is better - matter of taste I guess. I have heard the Polo is a good car. Can you post a picture of it?

Welcome to the site. I imagine new seats from the dealership will be big $. If you have a good upholstery shop in your area, you might get an estimate and ask to see his work.
