Right, but my point is you're going to have to shell out $ to put it on a dyno with a LM-2 or other wideband O2 to get it tuned correctly since you're probably the only person with your exact setup. So it could cost more $ in the end to get it tuned with the WAR.

I agree with Fneg. Most of them are just rehashing old information which may have been blown out of proportion. It's your money, and your happiness. Don't let them get to you. Have fun and enjoy the process. If they don't agree, so what? If they were sponsors or paying for parts, I'd listen more carefully to what they'd have to say. Sometimes you just got to do what others aren't doing to get the results that...

prolly not cuz i got the high compression pistons, so maybe could make a lil bit more power at that level of boost but i know 15psi is asking for trouble with high compresion pistons but ohhh well we'll see whats the limit of the m44 engine internals

I'd go with a chip, and a upgraded regulator that's adjustable but of the 3 turbo cars I've worked on the rrfpr has caused more hassles to me than it was worth. To push any boost envelope the regulator is not enough. Some seem to find them adequate with the SC if you keep the boost down. .02 bucks worth and worth less than ya paid for it... Dave

You should be able to run stock tuning with an RRFPR and that level of boost. It isn't going to make the most horsepower possible, but the DASC kits run at the same level of boost on the stock tune... You'd be better of spending your money on real tuning time than trying to use a piggy back. The only decent one out there is the ARC2, which you also need an AFR gauge to use properly. ...

Hello gents It's been a while since I last posted here. Thought I'd let you guys know the crazy lil supercharged 318ti I have is getting an upgrade. It's getting an M52 2.8L engine, rebuilt, forgies, bearings, copper gasket, studs, and a GT3071R turbo slapped onto it. Looking to have this completed during the next 2-3 weeks. Engine is expected to arrive this week and pistons have ...

Cooling system is the biggest weakness on the M44. T-stat can definitely fail as can the waterpump. Look for the cooling system rebuild thread by Cirrus in the knowledge base.
