Your 92 should be fed spec since all non-turbocharged 91-93 cars were. This would mean that you have only one O2 sensor after the flex section/before main cat.

Actually, after further review, the engine has locked up. Not sure how this happens with a wll cared for engine, 165000 miles, no smoke regular oil changes, etc, etc... I finally decided to pull the left front wheel, pulled the plugs and tried to turn the crank and no go. Maybe the oil pump went out, who knows but off to the shops she goes. New starter, batter, click click mod and all........

poor acceleration, backfire,...

The first thing you need is a service/repair manual. There are so many issues that a car can have, you must do some reading for yourself so as not to damagae your car. You can go strait to trouble shooting section. That is ware you begine. Back fires can be a sign of an exhaust leak, or lean run condition, or fuel build up. Take your pick. If the strait pipe is a half ass install, it will back fire. Any time your car is not stock. you will...

lol...yea good thing i didnt do that. Torch the whole car if i did. I didnt realize what I spelled. But as for tightening to the proper torque, I just didnt go get the tool/wrench. And I actually do have the manual and did know that you had to torque bolts. Also in the area where it talks about replacing the timing belt it doesnt say anything about the disc so that is why I asked. And i also know the specs to each bolt since I have the service...

Update: It's now been 3 days since the oil change and...... Once i started the car it was ticking for a few seconds but then again it was like 40 degrees outside. Then the tick was gone. I drove it around for about 30 minutes, without the tick ever reappearing. It seems like its doing its magic. Like I said, if it took years to get on the lifters and stick to them. Their not gonna be cleaned overnight by some additive. THANKS EVERYONE...

Sounds like you need a Cam position sensor, and to check the Capacitors in your ECM. I would check the Caps first, that is cheaper. I wound up with an Intake Cam gear that is out of time, a quick fixer, going to get a new belt tensioner to ensure it doesnt happen again.

The downpipe and test pipe will help more than the catback did. I picked up around .25 in the quarter mile with just a test pipe back in the day. The downpipe is said to net you around 13 hp.

I suppose it could never hurt to replace them especially if you don't know when the last time they've been replaced. I usually do a full tune-up to any car I buy just to have peace of mind when it comes to how long its been since it was last done. You can look at the color of the sensor as well to determine whether or not you need to replace it. If it is black with carbon deposits, it's time to ...

The issue is not were you get your clutch kit from. But what the hell are you going to do with it once it is in place. if you are going to let your mom and sis drive the car, that clutch will be just fine. It will be loud, my old N/A was super loud with just a catback with a test pipe. I liked it for about a week and then got sick of how obnoxiously loud the car was. Part of the reason was because I didnt have a muffler or anything which im assuming is what your situation will be.

Yep. do it again, and again and again untill you get it right. But you already knew that. And because you call the that disc behind the sproket a dics. I know that you are not using a service manual. You sprocket is just shaped like that. And if you have a disc with 3 flags your are looking at the relutor wheel for the crank angle senser. Be cause you are not usingaservice manual, you are going ...
