Yes, The canvass goes black. Instead of fading into the image it just fades into black. I reopen the image in motn and it is a black screen. The photo is on the motn timeline, but just plays black. Sequence is 1920x1080 HDTV 1080i using prores files for the video content. i am scaling and

Please forgive me if I'm asking basic stuff here - I'm a newbee to Motion but got really stuck with this one: I've made an animation (just graphical elements, no video footage involved) of 300 frames and 25fps (since I want to use it in a PAL video afterwards). What format is the Motion project in? I find some codecs do this better than others. Frame rate is important to. Just a thought.
Keyframe using text size, rather than a camera move, just to see what the difference is. I'm thinking it won't be much difference.

How can I make a piece of video the fill for a moving shape transition (like a series of
rectangular bars?) I want to have one piece of video replace another one by using such a transition, but I'm not sure what I need to adjust in order to achieve this effect. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have multiple layers going in motion with music, when I go to view it to see if everything is working it runs really jagged. So I took the music out, still running really jagged, so I have to export it out to see if it's working then tweak things re-export it out again which is taking 10 minutes each export. Is there a better way to view it in realtime? I'm on a
