I recorded a bunch of talking heads for a project using one mic and selected both channels on the camera to receive that material. at one point I adjusted the volume on the left channel of the camera ever so slightly only to discover a scratchy pod. I now have about a one second part of the clip where one channel (left) of the audio has a scratchy sound. Is there a quick cut and paste or other...

I've made a widescreen movie with a cheap Canon camcorder ( ZR850 ). I'd like to know what exporting settings would keep it looking half decent on DVD. I'm finding my way around FCE very well and a joy to use but the export side of things seems to be a bit of a mish mash to me and the only thing that let's me down. Any help is gratefully appreciated. Thanks , Rodge .

Are your presets set to HDV? What drives are you using? Please describe the system and how everything's connected? Computer, drives, deck, anything else. So0me of the FxPlug filters will not be available to you because of the integrated graphics card. It would be better not to use that computer if possible.

Do you have Perian installed? If so uninstall it. Also make sure the settings, little gear in the transfer window, is set to plain stereo.
