I would check it again after you have let it setup for awhile just to make sure. Sometimes the older seals do not hold as well and once things get lubricated they seal up after you are running. This is not as bad as direct salt water coming into your lower unit but something you want to keep an eye out for and have fixed at your next service if it shows up again. It does not take much water to turn it to the milky color so it can be deceiving....

Amp Hour size for 24V 80lb...
Published (2009-01-05 10:57:00)
I got me one of those Minn Kota Max 24V/80lb and need to get some batteries. Did some research here and will most likely go with Delco Voyager deep cycles. What do these motors draw in amp hours? I need a recommendation for the size battery needed. Thanks in advance!!

How can I clean Lexan windshields

I use Meguiars Clear plastic Polish on my boat and Ranger windshield. It does a good job at keeping stuff off and helps on scratches also.

Almost every day it seams like I have somebody trying to talk me out of buying my Haynie Bigfoot. The main reason is price and performance. Now as far as the price goes most of the people giving me grief are fair weather fishermen and usually buy used cheaper boats and I understand that it takes a lot of fishing to justify 40 to 50 grand. But why hound a guy that is willing to spend the ...

I'm running a shallow draft boat...'95 Shoalwater Laguna 20 and while she is in surprisingly excellent condition and is very good at what she does well, I've determined that she ain't the best boat for the bays I will concentrate my fishing efforts in...San Antonio, Aransas, Corpus Christi, Baffin. Heavy emphasis on San Antonio and Baffin. Basically I'm tired of having to go slow to keep from ...

Anybody want to trade a 12v Saltwater Trolling motor at least 50lb thrust for a Great White 106lb-36v Bowmount? The control head is a little loose and the shaft is very slightly warped but it seems to work fine. It is a used motor that retailed for $980 when new 3 years ago. Its too big for my boat and it is just taking up space in the garage.

I saw the new Gulf Coast 21.7 ft boat at the boat show today and it looked very nice. I have notice that Gulf Coast boats are kind of a cap liner boat. As I was walking around the sides of the boat, I banged on the sides and they seemed hollow and made a loud sound. I have a 21 ft Sea Pro and it does the same thing to me and will do it sometimes while hitting waves at the right angle. Does ...
