The air-conditioning/heat climate temperature control has apparently lost calibration. The driver's side has a noticable difference in temperature from that of the passenger's side. Probably 5 to 10 degrees difference (warmer). I have tried restarting thinking it would reset, but it did not solve the problem. The problem started when I replaced a weak battery but did correct itself ...

I haven't visted this thread in a while. Too busy with other stuff but I'd like to continue this if possibe. Junk...I take it since you have three floor jacks available, you are a pro running a repair business. Yes? If the car was on high enough stands, you think a trans jack would make the job easier?

What's the best way to decarbonize a LS1 ? I get a fair amount of piston slap when the engine is cold and I was wondering if it's due to carbon build up. How damaging is piston slap? I had the fuel injectors cleaned at the dealership last june, but I don't drive it a lot and I use premium fuel 93 octane and I am concerned that since I only have 12K miles on the car the piston slap ...

Hi, new to this site, but did see many posts on this and other corvette forums on the Steering Column Lock issue. I know their are many owners that had this happen more than once and some had the bypass installed to correct the problem for reoccuring. I have a 99 stick. In 2005 the steering column locked and I had it towed to the dealer. The recall was performed and they fix it. Last week ...

I have an 01 coupe with about 60k miles on it. The horn will not always blow when you press the horn button on the steering wheel. When you set the alarm, it blows every time. The dealer changed the horn relay but that didn't cure it. It works find sometimes and doesn't work at other times. Any ideas?

I would suggest calling WCC to find out whose pipe it is and what are the measurements. Is one side of your x-pipe longer than the other? That should give you an idea whether these dimensions could work.
