Nope. Not for me thanks. I understand why it might be a good thing for the environment, and why it might make sense when fuel prices go back up, but at the end of the day, I don't want to take the soul out of my car. Besides how many of us have corvettes cause they get great mileage!?!? Corvettes and Harleys are two of those inanimate objects that seem to have a soul. The right one just feels right and kind of talks to you. You feel it in...

I got 4 new Pioneer speakers and a set of Bilstein HD's. Starting on the speakers tomorrow(Sat.) and hopefully the Bilsteins will be here for next weekend. December 1st I had new BFGoodrich Radial T/A's put on which really made a difference in the ride and I'm hoping the Bilsteins will enhance that. Christmas(Wife) was very good to me this year.

just imagine the off the line torque of a huge electric motor wedged under the hood. i dont give a rats butt about sound, if they could do a vette with 500horse/500 ft/lb motor that would be self recharging like the current hybrids that would be awesome.

Hi, Since I've done some paint work in the past mainly on model cars and planes, I've decided to give a try and fix some paint damage on my Vette. It's basically a plastic model car, just life size! I'm just going to test on some hidden areas where some chips of paint have come off. The paint layer on the body seems to be quite thick. So, if a chip of paint comes off, it leaves quite a ...

I had a friend of mine replace the rear leaf spring on my '73 and after that I asked him to drop the car off at a buddy's shop for new exhaust. On the way due to axiom of " shit happens", the lug nuts weren't properly tightened (don't ask) on a back wheel. It fell off and resulted in a cracked rear fender. My question: Any ideas as to what the insurance company will do to try to avoid ...

I noticed a lot of vetts without power brakes or power steering. For any of you who are missing one or the other or both, how much does not having these power options affect your driving? I mean does it make your braking less consistant and longer braking times? Does the lack of power steering get annoying after a while when driving at slow speeds? etc thanks jim
