If the problem with your LifeDrive was with the microdrive, then following the Wiki HowTo method could have easily copied the problem that was on the microdrive to the replacement CF (e.g. Corrupt partition, corrupt
ROM image). The HackNDev method however would not have done this. However, If the problem with your LifeDrive was with something other than the microdrive, then of course replacing...

Can TestDisk recover the
microdrive? Is it possible for TestDisk to recover the Microdrive from a LifeDrive or is the partition setup just too weird for it?

Hello all,
I've been working on restoring software to my lifedrive I've collected over the years. I managed to have my LD, my tablet, and my desktop all three go kaputt at the same time about three months ago, so I lost everything. I've managed to restore the greater portion of my systems, including my LD, but I can't seem to find the LD_CPU_Speed.
