I kind of expected to hear people say keep it stock but I did want to get something larger, I don't want to waste $80 on a mag that is prone to problems but maybe $30 on a 25 round butler creek hot lips that jre mentioned isn't taking too much of a risk

chuckles- let's not start this argument again. Too many people have no trouble with carbon. If you go to m4carbine, you will see many "professionals" on that site, never clean AR's. Just keep them oiled. Most of these guys are not arm chair weekend warriors.

Benelli M4 or Remington 1100 are 2 of the best choices.

I got burnt by AR-15kits.com Waited 6 months, spotty communication from them. Now they won't return my calls or emails. I had to order a Del-ton kit. 4 months for me to receive it, but it was well worth it..

Well it being that this is a 1911 forum and I like retro and John Browining I'd say the Browning Auto 5. It's a sweetheart.

Your bullet will cross your line of sight twice during its flight. If you know where these points are,you can adjust your aim for the areas between or beyond these points. For example, if I sight my 30-06 in at 25 yds,it will print 3 inches high at 100 yds and will be dead on again somewhere out beyond 200yds. There are alot of varibles here and each rifle and load are unique. You might check ...

Hi, Greyson. I will believe it when I see it. You said "pistol upper" though. The army onlys says this to quell those upset over us not having the "best" weapon. If we were to get piston uppers I think they'd mate it to something in 7.62. At least those are my hopes.

I recall seeing that in some areas there are some very active .22 tactical competitions going on. Saw a few video clips of it once and it looked interesting and a lot of fun. If you don't mind me asking, what did that set you back? Nice looking set up, btw. Let us know how it shoots!

The G3 has more recoil than the FAL or M1A. It is not unmanageable by any means but it does feel stouter IMO. The G3 is about as reliable as it gets.

grtactical.com has Bravo Company uppers for about 425. These are tier 1 uppers. Nothing to upgrade or change. Everything you would want an upper to be. Also has some LMT's for about the same price, maybe a little more. I would go with Bravo comp. Good luck.
