Thanks. I've pretty much narrowed it down to a race-ready GS vs a really nice CB500/4 street bike. I'm leaning toward the GS.

I love it 100% correct and to the point. we only thought ahrma was screwed up.what really sucks is how good it could be with a little work.

Welcome! I am in Michigan and plan on doing my first year of Vintage racing in the North Central region in 2010 on a 1991 zx7r.
Your 1990 zx7 is eligible for V7 Heavyweight not V6 Heavyweight. The rule book states "Pre 1990" which means model year 1989 for V6 Heavyweight. Some members have unsuccessfully tried to get all zx7, zx7r, zx7rr indexed into the same Vintage class, but it doesn't...

I have an F4i stock shock on my FZ. It is not quite bolt up since I had to grind some clearance in the link that connects to the swingarm. So far it is working, but I am still a few seconds off the pace as I am trying to dial in engine and chassis.

3) What would be the cut-off date for a Honda CB 450, 500, 550 (twin or four) ?? Are the 76, 77, 78 models significantly different from the 73's or 74's ?? Thanks.
