Looking at page thirty of the manual, it looks like you need to use either HDMI input 4 or 5 and then use a cable like this one. If you look at the manual - page 9 - you would have the HDMI going into #6 or #7, and the audio connections would go into #10 or #11 respectively. In then manual I saw

Get the high end model for $799. It's the best buy, fast enough with enough memory and hard disk space. I just got one and I love it. Much faster loading pages than my old PC. It's amazing how small it is. I'm not sure SC. I don't really follow the worlds of Boxee or Plex that much anymore. I know there were issues with the Apple remote in Snow Leopard, but Candelair fixed them. There are also lingering issues with Front Row and Intel graphics. I'm pretty sure that 10.6.2 will address them though. At least that's what I've read. Beyond that, I don't really know of anything else. I just know that mine seems to be...

Okay, thanks for the update SC. It just seems like so long since the last update. I thought HandBrake was sort of a more active project.

Last time I was at the HB forums, they pretty much said no . However, there are plenty of custom compiles floating around that feature many of the development bits.

Yes, that would be a nice upgrade if only there was some way to read commercial Blu-Ray disks on Mac OS (may be in April 2010 ?).
As it stands, it is mostly useless unless you want to use your Mac Mini as a HTPC running Windows

You can easily use screen sharing, but a remote (white Apple, Harmony or with an iPhone application), keyboard and mouse are going to be more convenient and responsive. The MacBook will be handy for looking and browsing through other content on the Mac mini at the same time though. I mean, with standard file sharing. That's the only advantage I can think about.

Apple trailers at 1080p look fantastic. The same thing goes for HD coming over an EyeTV 250+. I don't notice any stuttering playing them windowed or at full screen. I do have 4GB of RAM in each of our Mac minis though. They range in speeds from 2.0GHz to 2.53GHz.

Are you booting up the TV first or the Mini first? My friend had an RCA that was exhibiting a simialr problem where the Mac had to be turned on first, but this solution only lasted a few days until the TV stopped worknig with his mini altogether.
Try using the TV without the Mini for a few days and see if the TV boots up without any issues or the 10 blinks. Maybe try plugging in the Mac ...

Connect a audio digital cable from the Mac Mini audio out port to the audio in port related to the HDMI connection on your TV. Match the connection to whatever your tv accepts, toslink or analog mini plug. The Mac Mini audio out works with both. Typically the first HDMI port will also have an associated audio in jack which may be digital or analog.

I noticed the same thing. My DVDs are also stuttering badly when played in Front Row. I wouldn't doubt this has something to do with the GMA 950 graphics. I hope Apple pushes out a Front Row update soon.

There is no reason why this projector wouldn't work. I've got my eye on it as well for a finished basement theater.
