So that fry's deal is in store only? I don't see it online. I really want a refurbished 2.26 but all the refurbished mini's have dried up, maybe there holding them until after Monday? I check the apple store every hour or so. LOL

I found out one at ebay, but I do not trust second-hand optical drive. I would much rather prefer to find a new one.

Thank you for the various responses. It's embarrassing but I'm going to have to explain my way out of this one. The deal is I have two new (SL) minis set up in my office, and one of them was down-graded to Leopard, while the other was still at Snow Leopard. Because they both were in a Kiosk style usage, I couldn't really tell which was which and wound up getting them backwards. The end result is that the Snow Leopard is in deed...

Lots of confusion. Apple updated this on the US spec page: Quote: # Line voltage: 100-120V AC (applies to U.S., Japan, and South America only) # Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz, single phase # Maximum continuous power: 110W But all of the ones that I have bought show 100-240V on them. I guess if you are going to buy from a US store, have them open it up and check before buying it.

i am 90 percent sure that the new mini has pal settings. i know that older minis did. i set my old mini to a pal setting and had a hard time getting it back to ntsc

I would stay away from the Mini Stack. There have been a lot of negative reports about heating and noise problems with it.
