John, Just thinking about your earlier response relating to your methods ... perhapss other here could take a few general shots of the races you cannot attend and then email them to you, perhaps with a URL for the meeting results, and you could then write up reports based on your interpretations. What do you think? Maybe a weather report as well to assist with 'colour'? I suspect you may be underselling yourself somewhat with the...

Tim's mention of sunshine has spurred me on- there was also lots of it at race meetings I went to this season! A brief shower at the Classic during practice for GD and the wet thursday at Spa 6hrs when the clouds were below the hills.... that was it.
